KRAV MAGA
​Krav Maga is the world's most effective full-contact self-defence system. It was created by the Israeli military in the 1940s to empower people with practical self-defence skills that could be used by both men and women alike.

Krav Maga consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from many forms of combat including Kickboxing, boxing, wrestling and judo, along with realistic fight training. It has been brought into a simple-to-teach, simple-to-learn and simple-to-apply self defence system.

It stresses instinctive movements, appropriate techniques, practical skills and realistic training scenarios. Krav Maga training improves situational awareness, physical fitness and finely tuned self-defence skills. It will prepare you for dangerous situations involving attacks, multiple attackers and chokes from behind. You will learn how to defend yourself against weapons such as knives and guns by learning disarmament techniques. You will also learn the most effective ways to counter common attacks such as wrist grabs, hair pulls or bear hugs.

Krav Maga at the Academy stems from security as well as civilian self defence. We adapt the system to your strengths and apply it to realistic situations that can be encountered in everyday life.
